Excellent platter starter with local products. Superlative nettle gnocchi. It is advisable to book both the seat and the menu, because they only cook fresh food at the moment and they sometimes run out of some products. In our case, with great disappointment, since we had viewed the menu in advance, two second courses that we were intending to taste were not available, we had to fall back on the only one left, braised meat and polenta, as the wild boar was out. Very kind staff.
I often work at Passo della Forcora with our walking groups. The guys at the refuge are very helpful and always attentive to the customer. The Valveddasca beer is absolutely worth trying!
Food nothing exceptional. Rude waiter. Our son didn't like those four dishes on the menu (other than those they have nothing) and the waiter suggested a plain pasta. We accepted, asking that it be at least seasoned with a little butter. The pasta, more or less 50g, arrived unpacked, we asked for butter which arrived after more than ten minutes when the pasta was now cold. We pointed out to the waiter that the pasta was now cold and he rudely replied that next time they won't make anything off the menu.
I would like to point out that we were charged €10.00 for 50g of plain pasta!!!
After a splendid walk on Monte Cadrigna I had lunch at the InForcora restaurant, a simple and clean environment, an excellent platter with local cured meats and cheeses and the homemade potato gnocchi with nettles. For dessert I had a spiced tart, cream and fresh fruit accompanied by goat ice cream. Top!
I finished with an excellent lemon alpine cream.
The staff were kind and attentive.

Polenta and braised meat without salt, tasteless and regarding polenta, miserable portion! How can you save money on polenta which costs very little and is very easy to prepare? perhaps the smallest portion I've ever had on my plate. Starter with cold cuts and cheeses also poor... Everything on the economy apparently!
Bring some sandwiches from home because with what you would spend in this refuge you would have to eat twice as much...
